First of all, I want to say that I really like these sandles. I have bad knees and I feel like these may give my joints a break. They run a bit large.I am a solid size 6 and these fit like a 7. Maybe this is why I can't understand the hype over toning. They are comfortable enough to wear all day long. I had to stretch the straps a bit as I have a high arch. It worked perfectly and am considering another pair.I would not necessarily by them for toning. I really think that is a clever marketing tool. Comfy none the less.

I read a local newspaper article on these too. I searched all the local sporting stores and could not locate a pair. I ordered these from Amazon and they arrived ready to walk out the door. No breaking in period needed. I have narrow feet so I ordered a size 6 rather then my normal 7 and they fit perfectly. I feel a workout in my calves wearing these and the heel is the most comfortable part of the sandal. 4 stars.
